Our mission
is to merge our commitment to health, environmental, and educational equity and access with our passion for creating wellness products and serene living environments that incorporate natural elements, respect and honor our natural world and nourish our soul while nurturing our health.
-
We create our products by hand to order
and currently have a one-to-five day order-to-ship time frame, although many orders are completed and shipped on the same day. We use only glass or eco-friendly containers and packing materials, including recycled paper wrapping and 100% compostable and biodegradable potato starch packaging, which is derived from food industry waste containing no oil-based materials, plastics or harmful toxins and is dissolvable in warm water.
-
Our profits fund a range of initiatives
including college scholarships for undocumented students who have demonstrated leadership in public service, and organizations and candidates for public office who support anti-racist and equitable access policy change.
-
We mindfully source our ingredients
using primarily organic, vegan (other than some products that contain beeswax), always gluten free and never tested on animals. We don’t use harmful preservatives proven to be endocrine disruptors and contaminants to our fragile environment, harmful sulfates that may offer the suds so many of us have grown to expect from cleansers, but that can irritate the skin and eyes, or synthetic fragrances as they have been shown to contribute to reproductive harm and neurological damage. We prioritize natural preservatives and recommend that our products be used within six months of purchase date.

We are committed to sustainable and ethical business practice
using only glass or recyclable containers and eco-friendly packing materials, including recycled paper wrapping and 100% compostable and biodegradable potato starch packaging, which is derived from food industry waste containing no oil-based materials, plastics or harmful toxins and is dissovable in water.

We envision the Tenderworks impact
as a meaningful contribution to increased awareness of disproportionate access, opportunities and outcomes for underserved communities and people of color.
